This homeowner came to us with several goals in mind. Most importantly, they wanted an open floor plan that would showcase their spectacular views from as many rooms as possible. With this open concept we wanted to also create cozy and intimate areas that would be inviting too. They wanted to add an attached Casita and an indoor half-court basketball gym to the house design without it looking out of place. So, we were able to achieve this by using the natural topography of the land and the use of building materials. With the design of the house we used different plate heights and roof pitches to give the house great curb appeal. The areas this produced were multiple with views and access to entertain guests.
