This builder came to us with several goals in mind. Most importantly, they wanted an open floor plan that would showcase their spectacular views from as many rooms as possible. With this open concept we wanted to also create cozy and intimate areas that would be inviting. They wanted privacy for the homeowners from the surrounding roads and homes, while ensuring that their home did not obstruct their neighbor’s views in the process. With the slope of this lot we were able to go with taller ceiling in the basement and bigger window to let in more natural light. The combination of these two things we were able to achieve spectacular views of the front range from the basement and it gave the basement a feeling of being an extension of the main floor.
